This diploma course will provide students with an understanding of how the process of policy-making works in practice and how government and other institutions change policies, pursue or avoid them. Also, students will gain an in-depth understanding of important theories of public policy by analyzing how ideas and institutions shape public policy. Learners will have the opportunity to search for solutions to real-world policy problems, gain understanding of the essential elements of policy development: from how policy is formed to how policy can be evaluated to serve the interest and good of the public.
