Prison Education and Training Initiative (PETI)
Kabboumb Academy Prison Education and Training Initiative (PETI) for prisoner up-skilling and/or re-skilling for sustainable re-integration is premised on the strong believe that everyone deserves a second chance in life.
Educating prisoners do not only reduce crime rate but improves employment and saves money spent by government and others on prisons and prisoners. The Prison Education and Training Initiative (PETI) seeks to provide prisoners with the opportunity to learn new skills and give them a renewed sense of purpose and commitment towards life and nation building.
Article 26 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that: “Everyone has the right to education.” Again, Sustainable Development Goal 4 of the United Nations is geared towards ensuring inclusive, equitable, and quality education and the promotion of lifelong learning opportunities for all.
As such, Kabboumb Academy in a foursquare attempt to provide a state of the art affordable, accessible and quality education for all, anywhere and anytime; has come up with programs like the Ex-servicemen and Prison Education and Training Initiatives.
Together with donors and partners, these initiatives and interventions are expected to give very worthy second chance opportunities for all, especially the ex-military, ex-police and other almost neglected and resource-barred national heroes from acquiring new knowledge and skills for better jobs and services for everyone and nations.
Kabboumb Academy has simply come to break such barriers in knowledge and skills acquisition now and for good.
