Based on the jurisdiction of practice and available regulatory framework; dental technicians or technologists can privately practice or provide key support to dental personnel in public and private hospitals and practices respectively. As a dental technician, you’ll use impressions to manufacture dentures, crowns, bridges and orthodontic appliances.
Via this diploma, you will learn how to construct models, impression trays, full and partial dentures, crown and bridge structures and more. You’ll also learn about other dental anatomy, specialties, careers, infection control and prevention. This diploma is delivered as both an apprenticeship program and a non-apprenticeship program.
